LYS Beauty’s latest drop, the Higher Standards Cream Glow Blush Stick, is radiant and beautiful on deeper skin tones.

The new blushes launched on LYS Beauty’s website and Sephora on February 22. The brand describes the blush sticks as “lightweight, easy-to-blend,” cream formulas that leave a dewy flush of color on the skin. All seven shades can warm up any makeup look while providing a lit-from-within radiance.

The formula includes three key ingredients contributing to hydrated skin and a glowy appearance – green tea extract, watermelon seed extract, and rosehip oil.

The Higher Standards Cream Glow Blush Stick shades are listed as follows:

Curvy: Perfect Peach

Courageous: Poppy Orange

Unfazed: Berry Plum

Outgoing: Watermelon Pink

Focused: Warm Cinnamon Pink

Elite: Mauve

Bubbly: Soft Pink

How Did The LYS Higher Standards Cream Glow Blush Sticks Swatch?

I was sent the shades Elite and Focused. The creamy formulas applied smoothly onto my cheeks without smearing the foundation I already had on. I noticed that the color payoff could be built up depending on one’s desired final look. I applied the blush directly onto my cheeks, blended with a brush, then further blended with my middle finger.

Instead of being a “mauve,” I would describe Elite as a warm pinkish tone with beautiful shimmering pigments. Focused, the “warm cinnamon pink,” was described accurately by the brand. The latter shade also added a radiant glow to the skin.

I think Elite would suit all undertones. Focused is probably best for warm and neutrals.

See me swatch and apply Focused here. Shop the Higher Standards Cream Glow Blush Stick via LYS Beauty and Sephora.
